Ooops
So I started my last oldnavy.com order to buy stuff for Jem since I packed up a lot of his 9 month clothes and he needs stuff to take him to 12 months. But of course I went through Scout’s tote of 2T clothes that will be coming out and the goal was to supplement her wardrobe with a few warm weather tops & a neutral bottom or two.
I felt like I was totally even while shopping, too! But I got the stuff out of the box today. She has twice as much stuff. Because cute dresses & rompers. In fairness, a lot of the Jem stuff I liked was no longer available in his size. But yeah. i have a little girl clothes problem.
I’m very VERY fortunate that Baby L is a boy because ooof I cannot afford to spoil that kid as much as I would be compelled to if he were a girl.

online shopping PSA
It’s Ebates’ birthday again so many stores are temporarily up to 14% cash back!! Especially the Gap/Old Navy stores! I just earned $30 buying clearance kids clothes at ON because my weeds are about to up-size.
If you online shop anyway, this is a great way to get something back! If you’re not joined, join here: ebates

Thanks, Ebates
I love ebates. This is not a secret. But for the last few paychecks they have an option. A) get your normal check in the mail as usual. OR B) get an instant code for amazon.com.
It’s awesome because the extra cash is nice but we’re not good about saving it up or using it for something important. It’s most often under $20 (except the one post-Christmas) and it just goes into our checking acct or pocket and gets spent like the rest of our money.
Since getting my kindle, I have a bit of a book splurging problem. If one of you all recommends a book and it’s on sale I’m almost guaranteed to buy it. When an author I like or a book that looks good comes in the $3.99 or less section I’m almost guaranteed to buy it — especially when my husband is gone and I’m 2 glasses of wine in after bedtime. So now we turn my ebates money into amazon cards and that’s my ebook budget. Everybody wins!

Since getting the kindle, I find myself wanting to buy ALL THE BOOKS. Kindle edition is cheaper and I don’t have to put on pants or wait for shipping. And I also won’t have a copy to clutter up my house and add to a box for the next hundred times we move.
Somebody either stop me or give me amazon gift cards.

Last day for 13% cash back!
Ebates birthday celebration ends tomorrow so if you haven’t taken advantage, I highly recommend it. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Old Navy, who also has a coupon for 20% everything with the code ONBEACH expiring today.
It’s hot as hell down here and I’ve still got 3 months to go so I realized 1 maternity swim suit and 1 baby swim suit was not going to cut it for as much time as I plan to spend at the pool once it opens. The whole family got new swimwear, I got a dress I can wear to E’s rehearsal dinner and some more maternity tops because let’s face it, the 3 t-shirts and 2 tanks I have from last time around are not cutting it.

What else could I possibly need from amazon?
I ordered birthday party stuff. I ordered back ups of this little stuffed Frog Aunt K sent Scout and she is attached to. The thing goes everywhere, gets filthy. It’s been washed 3 times in the month we’ve had it and it’s a beenie baby so it’s already looking ragged. So I had a moment where I really felt like a parent and ordered 2 spares in case by the time he dies I can’t find them anymore.
But I forgot some replacement parts for sippy cups that she has chewed and other things so I’m placing yet another order. Before I do, and make the mail people hate me for getting so many packages I’m trying to just add things to my cart, walk away for a bit and come back when I think of stuff.

25 - 30% off online code!
Ending today, Old Navy, Gap or Banana Republic are offering 25% off your order with the code “SPRINGSAVE”. 30% off if you spend $100+
I was just about to shop for all the new baby things when Scout woke up from her nap. Good timing, kid. This shopping was for once not for you.

I may have just bought these shoes from ideeli’s Betsey Johnson sale. Whoops…

Ebates, why do you do this to me?
They send me emails. Alerting me to the 25% off coupon code plus 8% cash back at shoes.com. So much want, so little need. My brain knows that the savings and cash back are not more beneficial to my bank account than not buying shoes. But it’s having a hard time living by that knowledge.
